Dear Mr. Mirro Canner,

I'm sorry to inform you that our relationship must come to an end. I don't think this will come as a surprise to you because I'm sure you've noticed my excitement in seeing you has diminished in the last couple of weeks.

Yes, it's been a good summer and we have spent many happy hours together. You have been of great help to me and I couldn't have accomplished alone what we've done together.

So with this, I will send you on your way to your box in the basement.

I do hope that you're not so devasted that you bust a seal or let a spider inhabit under your lid.
