Not Me Monday!

I haven't taken the time to do a not-me Monday for awhile because I keep forgetting the things I don't do...but I do remember a couple of things that I didn't do this past week:

1. I didn't share my abc (already been chewed) gum with my youngest just to keep him quiet while we were waiting on the other two to finish ice skating lessons. And he didn't just promptly swallow every little piece I gave him. I also didn't look around to see if anyone was watching!!


2. I didn't clean out my little guy's nose while he was sleeping because L kept saying he was breathing too loud and keeping her awake! Poor guy...mom picking his nose while he slept!! But, you know, I Didn't do it!

Not Me Monday

Ok, so this isn't a very exciting Not Me Monday..but I thought I would mention a couple of things that I most absolutely didn't do!

1. I didn't get excited when by chance I was the first commenter on one of MckMama's posts.


2. I didn't let my children go out and play in the snow this morning...before breakfast...and before they got dressed. No, I didn't decide that school could wait and we could just start our day later. Never would I throw my carefully orchestrated plans awry like that!

Not Me Monday!

• I did not buy clearance halloween candy to make cookies with and then sneak some out of the freezer and hope my children didn't notice!


• I did not tell my children they might die when they didn't want to buckle up. How cruel would that be?


• I didn't pass on ice cream at the in-laws so I could come home and eat leftover homemade ice cream that I secretly like better than their boughten kind.


• I didn't completely lose our cordless phone. No way, not me. My house is organized and I can tell immediately if something is out of place.

Not Me Monday!

Last week I was busy not doing things!

• I did not use my son's toothbrush and then realize it when I was half done with my teeth and then almost choke when I realized what I was (not!) doing.


• I did not use my cordless phone as a "microphone" to sing a song. And I wasn't by myself in the house when I did that either.


• I did not snuggle up with my son to take a nap and then let him get up because he was being wiggly and I wanted to sleep.


• I did not take a hot bubble bath 5 nights last week just because I was cold.


• I did not get frustrated when I had to wait on Sarah Palin's motorcade to get through town so I could go where I wanted and then get more frustrated when I couldn't tell which vehicle she was in. I take life how it comes, right?

So there you have it. My confessions for the week!

Not Me Monday!

This past week I didn't do a lot of things -

I didn't put laundry off all week making a mountain of work for myself. I'm always on top of the laundry detail, you know!

I didn't chase a balloon halfway across a parking lot just to avoid having my son cry when he realized it had blown out of the vehicle....and I didn't stop halfway to catching it and look around to see if anyone was watching. Not me...I don't care how I look to others.

I didn't let my son go to church with his buttons/buttonholes lined up incorrectly...because I had slept in too late to have time to help him.

And I also didn't let the same son go to church with one (very noticeable patterned) sock inside out....and just hoped his pant legs stayed down so no one would notice. Nope, not me, my children are dressed impeccably!

Not Me Monday!

I just have to join the fun!

I Did Not let my little one play in his slobber/snot on the back door window for a while because it was keeping him quiet and happy while I cooked dinner. Gross!

I absolutely Did Not strap the same little guy in his high chair and promptly hand him a sucker to keep him quiet while I finished getting lunch. Not me....I only give my children healthy snacks.

I didn't, wouldn't blow/wipe my nose on my shirt and then wipe my daughters nose on the same shirt because we didn't have any kleenexes handy. I knew it would be gross and crunchy by laundry day, so I wouldn't do that! Never would I do things like MckMama!!
