Old MacDonald Had a "Farm"

~The newest residents~
They have settled right in and are busy pecking at their food and water!

This is a new experience for us.  We have jumped into the world of "we gotta get home to do chores."  These chicks will hopefully make their contribution to our breakfasts in a few months.  The children are excited {me too!}.  Now to get the chicken house fix-up complete so they don't have to spend too long in a Dell box.  :)

    I remember those days. Our chicks resided on our back porch for 1 1/2 weeks. Long enough for my nose to say 'that's been long enough!'

    Fun!!! We have 7 (or 8, I can't keep track!) and it is sooo much fun! Morgan takes her job very seriously when it comes to gathering eggs and feeding them. I love all the fresh, healthy eggs!
